FYI

Good questions. Straight answers.

The essentials about what goes into a BERSKI stick and how to choose yours.

What is in the ancestral blend?

Every stick contains grass-fed beef, 25% whole beef liver, and 5% whole beef heart. Check each flavor’s product page and package for its full ingredient list.

Why do you use whole organ meats?

Whole liver and heart are part of the food itself. We include them in the stated 25% liver and 5% heart blend, rather than hiding them behind a vague ingredient name.

How much protein is in a stick?

The current 1 oz sticks show 8 g of protein each. The 1.9 oz Salted and Salt & Pepper sticks show 15 g; the 1.9 oz Cajun stick shows 14 g. Refer to the nutrition panel for the product you buy.

Which flavors and packs can I choose?

Shop Salted, Salt & Pepper, and Cajun. Each product page shows its current pouch and carton options, prices, and availability.

Where does the beef come from?

The current cartons describe the beef as 100% grass fed, 100% grass finished, and pasture raised in the USA.

Do BERSKI sticks contain nitrates or nitrites?

Our live FAQ explains that celery powder and sea salt are used in the curing process; celery powder can be a natural source of nitrates. Check the current ingredient list for the specific flavor you choose.

Practical answers to help you compare flavors, understand the ingredients and store your sticks.

Do BERSKI beef sticks taste like liver?

BERSKI contains 25% whole beef liver, so the taste can come through, especially in Salted. Salt & Pepper adds cracked pepper, while Cajun adds habanero and cayenne. Taste varies by person; if you enjoy spicy food and are new to organ meats, Cajun is a useful starting point.

What makes BERSKI different from regular beef sticks?

BERSKI makes the organ-meat proportions explicit: every flavor contains 25% whole beef liver and 5% whole beef heart alongside grass-fed beef. The three flavors share that foundation and use different seasonings. Compare complete ingredient lists rather than relying on the word ancestral alone.

Are BERSKI beef sticks gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free?

BERSKI describes Salted, Salt & Pepper and Cajun Seasoned beef sticks as gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free. Those descriptions do not establish a separate third-party certification or an allergen-free manufacturing facility. If you need manufacturing or cross-contact information for an allergy, contact hello@eatberski.com before ordering and check the package label.

Do BERSKI beef sticks contain seed oils?

BERSKI describes all three beef-stick flavors as seed oil-free. Their published ingredient lists contain beef, whole liver, whole heart, salt, celery powder and flavor-specific seasonings, with a beef casing. You can review each full list on the product page.

Do BERSKI beef sticks need refrigeration?

Unopened BERSKI beef sticks are shelf-stable, so they do not require refrigeration while sealed and stored according to the package instructions. Once opened, follow the storage directions on your wrapper; unopened shelf-life information does not apply to an opened stick.

How long do BERSKI beef sticks last?

BERSKI lists a 12-month shelf life for its beef sticks. Use the best-by date on your package to check the particular batch you receive; this is not a promise of 12 months remaining from delivery. Keep the wrapper sealed and follow its storage instructions.

Does BERSKI use whole organ meat or organ powders?

BERSKI lists whole beef liver and whole beef heart as ingredients, rather than organ powders. Every flavor contains 25% whole liver and 5% whole heart. BERSKI is a food snack; it is not sold as an organ supplement or as an equivalent dose to a supplement.

Which BERSKI flavor should I try first?

Choose Salted for a simple sea-salt flavor, Salt & Pepper for cracked pepper, or Cajun Seasoned for habanero and cayenne heat. If you are concerned about organ-meat taste and enjoy spice, start with Cajun. Salted lets more of the underlying beef-and-organ flavor come through.

What is the casing on BERSKI beef sticks, and is it edible?

BERSKI ingredient lists identify a non-dyed beef casing. The casing is part of the beef stick and is edible. Remove the outer packaging wrapper before eating; the wrapper and the casing are different.

Are BERSKI beef sticks cooked and ready to eat?

BERSKI beef sticks are fully cooked and ready to eat. Remove the packaging wrapper before eating; no additional cooking is required. These are snacks made for people, including when you find them through searches for beef liver sticks.
