My meat stick was left in the cold. Is it still good?
Yes! To make it more pleasurable to eat, allow it to come to room temp before snacking on.
My meat stick was left in the hot car. Is it still good?
Make sure to check the seal is still tight. Sometimes when left in direct sunlight, the fats and oils will cause the plastic to expand, breaking the vacuum seal. We do not advise you to eat the stick if the vacuum seal breaks.
Are your meat sticks gluten free?
Yes. BERSKI does not use gluten in any of the products nor will BERSKI ever use gluten in future products.
Can I eat BERSKI on a KETO or Paleo Diet?
Yes. All BERSKI sticks are Keto and Paleo compliant.
Are there any nitrates/nitrites in BERSKI sticks?
Yes. BERSKI uses celery powder and sea salt together, as a natural source of nitrates.
When used in jerky sticks, celery powder and sea salt help to preserve the meat and maintain its color and flavor.
Is BERSKI an allergen friendly snack?
Yes. BERSKI meat sticks do not contain any of the ‘Big 9” allergens. No milk, no eggs, no fish, no crustacean shellfish, no tree nuts, no peanuts, no wheat, no soybeans, and no sesame.
How long do BERSKI Beef sticks last?
BERSKI Beef sticks have a shelf life of 1 year.
What is the difference between a beef casing and a beef collagen casing?
BERSKI uses beef casings which aremade from the actual intestines of the cow. Other companies use Beef collagen casing, which are made from the collagen of beef hides (synthetic, but still animal-based). Sometimes beef collagen casings are dyed or bleached so be aware of the wording when looking at other products.
Can I freeze BERSKI meat sticks?
Yes. BERSKI sticks can be frozen then enjoyed at a later time. For best consumption, let the BERSKI stick thaw in the fridge overnight before eating.
Does BERSKI contain MSG?
No. BERSKI does not believe in the use of MSG and will never use that in any of our products.
Are BERSKI Sticks Animal Safe?
BERSKI Salted sticks are animal safe. If your animals get a hold of our other flavors please consult your vet for advice.
How much product is in the pouches?
BERSKI 1.9 oz pouches come in a pack of 8, which gives you a total of 15.2 oz of meat
BERSKI 1 oz pouches come in a pack of 12 which gives you a total of 12 oz of meat
Should I refrigerate BERSKI Sticks?
There isn’t a need to refrigerate BERSKI Sticks. BERSKI sticks are fully shelf stable for up to 1 year. Only refrigerate and consume within 3 days when you have opened your BERSKI stick.
Are there any grains in this product?
No. BERSKI beef has never been fed grains! We are proudly 100% grain free from start to finish.
Do BERSKI Sticks contain nightshades?
The Salted BERSKI stick is our nightshade free option. Our Salt and Pepper stick has pepper, which is a nightshade.
Are BERSKI Sticks Cured?
BERSKI sticks are fully cooked. We use natural curing agents (salt and celery powder) combined with cooking the meat to remove water and preserve the product.
Are your meat sticks pregnancy safe?
BERSKI sticks are fully cooked and require a low and slow cooking process to dry out the meat. We have a lot of happy mothers and soon-to-be mothers that eat our product and love it, but we recommend that since every pregnancy is different, speak to your physician to get specific approval.
What makes BERSKI Better?
BERSKI beef sticks are made from 100% grass-fed and finished beef, with cows that are never fed grains and roam freely on pastures. We use whole organs like liver and heart, plus organic spices, sea salt, and celery powder—no fillers or synthetic additives. Unlike other brands that use lactic or citric acid (from mold), we keep it clean and natural. Many companies claim grass-fed, but their cows could be eating grass pellets in a stall. At BERSKI, we prioritize quality, transparency, and true pasture-based farming for the cleanest, most nutrient-dense snack.
Does BERSKI fit the Weight Watchers Diet?
Yes! Our 1.9oz sticks are 5 points and our 1oz sticks are 3 points.
Where does BERSKI source their meat?
At BERSKI, we source our meat 100% from the United States. Our cows come from Savory Institute Farms in the Pacific Northwest of the US.
Can Kids eat BERSKI sticks?
Yes! We have a lot of kids enjoying BERSKI meat sticks. and also group articles into categories.
Why do you use whole organ meats in your sticks?
Organs are nature’s multivitamin — rich in B12, iron, and other essential nutrients. They make our sticks more nutrient-dense without changing the flavor.
